Charity concerts of the Symphony Orchestra in Akmola region

On November 2, 2019, the Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Philharmonic of the Akimat of Nur Sultan for the first time gave three charity concerts outside the capital.

The musicians played their first concert at the Kamkor Social Services Center of the Nur-Sultan Akimat. The second and third concerts of the Symphony Orchestra took place in orphanages in the village of Uryupinki and the city of Akkoly. These events brought children a lot of joy: the pupils were interested in learning the history of musical instruments and seeing them with their own eyes. With no less interest, the young audience listened to the program from the works of foreign and Kazakhstan composers - Kurmangazy, Abay, I.S. Bach, L. van Beethoven, I. Brahms, F. Schubert and others.

Most of the children first saw such a large musical group, consisting of 42 artists. After the concerts, wards of orphanages heartily thanked the musicians and asked them to come again. “Our wards do not always have the opportunity to see such concerts. We sincerely thank you for your work and your talent, ”said Julia Sergeevna Aldazharova, director of the Combined Orphanage No. 1 for orphans and children left without parental care in the village of Uryupinki, Akkolsky District.

The initiators of the concerts were the artistic director and chief conductor of the group, Berik Batyrkhan and Yernar Nurtazin. They decided that such events would bring a lot of aesthetic joy to the audience, for whom the first encounter with the symphony orchestra “live”.

The musicians made a promise to return. “I want to give children such emotions more often and see the delight in their eyes,” shared Maya Medetbek, artist of the Symphony Orchestra. Another artist Almira Kalipenova added: “To give light and joy to the lives of such children and youth is a good thing. Today, with the help of music, we have planted grains of good in their hearts. These trips are important for us. ”

The performances of the Symphony Orchestra became a real musical holiday for students, filled their weekdays with special impressions. The management of the team decided to hold such charity concerts regularly. “This should become a good tradition of our orchestra,” said Berik Batyrkhan. “We will give such musical holidays to those who especially need them,” said Yernar Nurtazin.
